"semi-hideaway" is nearing an end. Here's a quick shot of my Oklahoma hideout. This is where I spend most of my time when I am not out riding....:-). It's a panoramic shot, so it looks a little weird....
The weather has been back and forth between beautiful (and windy) to cold (and windy). Afterall, this is Oklahoma where the wind comes whistling over the plains; as the song goes....:-). The evenings have been chilly enough to light an outdoor fire pit that a friend gave me 3 years ago. You can tell that it was quite chilly because we were wearing jackets and freezing our rear ends off....haha. Just look at Scootard. If you see a Canadian wearing jacket, IT'S COLD! ha
Now, for some reason after I upgraded my storage for my blog, I lost the ability to edit my pictures. Now, they all come out in various sizes with no way to make corrections. I have even tried editing the size BEFORE uploading to blogger with no success. oh well.....:-(.
The next morning it was apparent to me that I should get Ms Vickey ready for the winter. We are leaving the bikes here in the states since we will be returning in May. The wind was fierce, so Scootard took her to the shop for me to have her serviced. He's "the man with his finger on the button of power"...:-(. Anyway, here is Ms Vickey on her way to the shop and Scootard posing with her.....:-)
She was there for 3 days before we could pick her up. She had her 7000k tune-up....:-). She's a big girl now! And this is her when we got her back.
TADA!
and here is Scootard after all of the festivities.......haha
We hope to be able to ride at least once more before heading back to the great north "wet". Until then, her and "the Maj" will have to wait. But I'll be ready when the time is right.....:-).

I know you are disgusted about your inability to resize pictures. i think it blows as well.....kinda like the Oklahoma wind!.......hahaha.
I'm glad we did get Miss Vicky taken care of. Now to buy some Sta-Bil, move them into the house and remove the batteries.
We'll probably get better mileage on the way home not pulling the trailer and bikes.
I'm really not happy about it and I don't even see where I can call a tech person or e-mail someone to get it fixed. You would think that after i upgrade and buy more space that I would still have the same editing capabilities.....ugh!
Pat:
I don't know why you have to pay for photo hosting. Picassa is FREE if you keep your images below 2000 pix on the long side and Picassa interfaces with blogger easily. They are meant to work together as they are both GOOGLE products. That's why I use CHROME too. No problems now.
I take my photos, transfer to computer. Select the ones you want to post and they resize them to 1330 x 2000, then upload to Picassa.
When you do a blog post you click the photo icon and select upload from Picassa album, easy peasy
don't come back. we don't want you here . . . Just kidding, you won't like the torrential rains, pooling water, wind and in a few days we are getting snow flurries. -3°C for Saturday night

Hey Bob,
I'm coming back just to bug you! haha.
Yeah, in regard to the upgrade, when I went to post a picture, google said that I had used my 1gb free space and had to purchase more space. I deleted a BUNCH of pictures from earlier blogs and from Picassa and it still would not let me upload pictures. Once I purchased the 2.49 a month package for 5 gb, it suddenly started automatically resizing my pictures. The tool bar that used to show up once I uploaded the picture that allowed me to do the resizing doesn't even show up any longer when I click on the picture...I have no idea what has happened.....:-(. My photos are not that big.
I was going to ask if you would miss the scooters when back in BC, but with the weather/rain we are Vancouver have been having lately I don't think so.
Try what Bob is suggesting with the photos. I ran out of space too and instead of buying extra storage I did what Bob suggested (thanks Bob for the tip) and I resize all the pics on my desktop and I am still able to upload them directly into blogger and resize them within the post.
Hey there Trobairitz,
Yeah we have been hearing about the weather there and I just doubt I will miss the scooter since I don't ride in weather like that anyway. In regard to the space, I have already purchased for this month. But I will still try the resizing technique. However, you would think that after deleting SEVERAL post and pics from the blogg site as well as my Google+ account, it would have freed up "some" space. I couldn't post ONE picture.
The other thing is that I just did a test run taking a picture from my camera instead of my "camera phone" and suddenly all of the tools showed up again. Now, I don't know if it was some kind of a conflict between my Iphone and the google software or not. Or if now it works because they got the money...ha. Hard to tell at this point.
