Farewell to Switzerland!

This morning we decided to be up early to catch our last pics of our Swiss guest...:-).  We had a cup of coffee and talked about our respective plans for the day....

It was time for Marc to meet his taxi who would take him to his next destination.  It was very strange to me as the people who have come so far have been young.  So, it feels like I am watching my "kids" go off on these extreme adventures! ha.....I's strange.

He was very appreciative of our hospitality and thanked us for everything.  He took our picture as well the evening before....:-).

You are welcome, Marc.....:-)

We hope his mountaineering experience is all that he expects it to be......:-)

We wished him a safe journey!

Now we start planning our own couch surfing experiences for our upcoming trip!

Good luck to Mark on his adventures and good luck to you two in planning your own adventures in couch surfing. I am looking forward to reading about your trip.

yes, We wish him well. He should be somewhere in the Alpines by now with his instructor. I do hope that our experiences will be as pleasurable as our German and Swiss friends!

You know, I've noticed that I cannot edit misspelled words on this blog. I have to delete the entire post if I discover it after I have posted it....:-(. For example I called Marc my "swill friend" instead of Swiss...ha. But there was no place to edit??? Am I missing something or is it really like that on this blog set up??

as you were hugging your "SWILL" Friend, I was thinking that I wouldn't mind one of those too ! I also had some problems with Blogger a couple of months ago and they said to upgrade my browser. and the problems went away.

sometimes I just use MS:Word for my text, and then just copy over to blogger when you are finished. Where is that female Doctor lady ?

Hey Bob,

I think she is in Seattle at this point....:-). She was going to spend one more week in Calgary and then off to meet her boyfriend and they were going to tour Washington and a few other places...

There should be an edit button on this thing! good grief....:-(.
