They may have stopped or may have just have put them away... That big family restaurant never used to be there.

I loved seeing the fruit stand pictures. We went to school with the kids of the families who owned them back int he 80's and whos families still own them judging by the names.

I used to cook and waitress in high school at the little cafe at the top of the hill by the gas station. Not sure if it is even still there anymore. And my mom used to own a little cafe downtown prior to that. Ahhh memory lane.

Thanks again!!Trobairitzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03453398807198746434noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8697466774739790258.post-74067593083927680062013-11-01T08:25:39.763-07:002013-11-01T08:25:39.763-07:00Pat/Chris:

Nice to stop there on a warm summer day, have a burger and sit on the sidewalk and watch the tourists drive by like a local

One of those fruit stands used to sell scooters they bring in from Vietnam. I guess you didn't see any or you would have taken a photo.

anyway, welcome home

bob
Riding the Wet CoastAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05258612401956399482noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8697466774739790258.post-64080645072102116362013-10-31T20:17:37.725-07:002013-10-31T20:17:37.725-07:00I hope Brandy enjoyed our little detour.
